Two years ago I walked through the tall grasses and along the creekside at my brother in law’s farm with Toni and Alex for their engagement session. Of course this was our first time meeting but it was one of those sessions where I just knew it was only the beginning of our relationship. I distinctly remember Toni sharing about her schooling and Alex telling me he was a cop and I made some terrible joke about donuts…
Since then, I have photographed their wedding last year at Celebrations at the Bay, one of our favorite venues, and I even had the chance to put together a Valentine’s day gift for Alex as Toni gifted him some boudoir photos.
But one of my favorite sessions of all was this one. The one where we got to photograph not just Toni & Alex, but little Reese who will be making her debut in late October. As a recent mother myself, I shared with Toni how much I already miss my pregnant belly and I hope these photos will always act as a way for Toni to remember hers once little Reese is earth side.
I love you both and cannot wait to continue watching you two grow.
