The Couple: Stephanie & Josh

It was a year and a half ago that I made the trip of all backroads to Stephanie and Josh’s house in Havre De Grace, MD. At the time, I just so happened to have a few clients out that way and I truly learned to love the trip east as I never hit a single highway, which is absolutely my sort of driving. (Other than when I’m hungry on the way home and there’s nothing but a Rutter’s in site…).

As I finally found there driveway after driving up the driveways of their neighbors (funny thing is I did this at Stephanie’s mom’s house on the wedding day too… I promise I’m really not that bad with directions), I pulled up to their newly built home andddddddd a huge garage and A LOT of boats (and dare I say, boat parts and pieces?)

I knew immediately we would have no shortage of things to talk about as my husband and I had not long before bought our own boat, we were building our house, and Josh even got his orange classic car in a few engagements shots which would have totally been up Tyler’s (my husband’s) alley too.

And as I thought, we had a great session on their property as the sun so perfectly peeked through the trees, that when Stephanie and Josh decided to book for their wedding, September 10th 2022 just couldn’t come fast enough.

This wedding was beautiful from the very beginning to the very end, and the best part was that it reflected this couple so well. From the venue on the water, to having their dogs in their portraits, to the Disney references in Samantha’s (the Maid of Honor and sister of the bride’s) speech.

There is no doubt that this is couple is surrounded by so much love and such fun friendship and I am so grateful to be just a very small part of their story. Congratulations you two.
