Hearing a few of the stories from Lindsey & Mike’s wedding from our Mayberry and Stone associate, Morgan, and her second, Dani, reminded me of my wedding day already 5 years ago…

To know me (Carly) is to know that I LOVE to talk. Not often will you find me quiet or without much to say. In fact, if you do, you’ll probably be concerned that something is wrong because I just don’t seem like myself.

Which is what most of my bridesmaids were saying to me on my wedding day. “Carly, are you okay? You’re so quiet.” I was so nervous. As excited and ready to marry my best friend as I was, I was just in a “zone” – a quiet zone – focused on one step at a time, getting in my dress, walking down the aisle.

And from what Morgan shared, Mike was feeling the same way last Friday. Eager and ready to share his vows, but also anxious from the moment he woke up as he thought about the day ahead. And rightfully so! It’s your wedding day, that is a BIG deal!

Every little detail of this day was thought of and personalized to so perfectly represent Lindsey & Mike. From the piano playing to the cardboard cut out (you may have had to have been there for this one) to the family friend as their officiant – hearing the story of how Lindsey and Mike met.

To you two, we are so thankful to have been a part of this momentous day in your lives, one that I hope you cherish and remember for forever as the day you became one.

And also, in the words of Morgan, the day she had the best chocolate covered strawberries ever.
